Why put a phone UI on a device that’s gonna be used on a TV?
That’s complete disregard for users. It looks like crap, it is crap, and complicates things. Way too many steps just to go to my library. I don’t care about streaming, I don’t care about the latest stuff I added. I know.
Just like Microsoft wrecked the UI. The second that interface hits my Shield it’s gonna be Adios Plex.
I love the UI. Interfaces are subjective.
What’s the purpose of your post? If you have specific issues you need to go into details about that. This post is entirely useless in this form. Besides, what are you trying to accomplish by saying “Adios Plex”? Plex has 16 million monthly active users. Surely they care about you using Plex or not, especially considering this rude post you just made.
It certainly looks like you have not added your Libraries as Favourites to the Homepage. Then everything that is needed is in one place.
It is ok for someone to say something his hot garbage. Which the new ui is.
There is no reason to clutter this forum with it. It doesn’t add any valuable information given that there’s already multiple posts complaining about the UI changes. This isn’t Reddit.
This is nothing short of Plex turning their backs on the user’s of this platform. Additionally, they are ■■■■■■■ cowards in their radio silence over this matter.
Some of us have been using Plex for over a decade and it is verifiably the worst UI they’ve ever shoved onto the user base. Why are you so butt hurt over someone complaining about something they dislike. If your experience is 99% garbage then it’s easier than pointing out EVERYTHING that is wrong with it. Just keep scrolling next time!

Another voice supporting this post. The new UI is a hot mess. There needs to be an option to revert and then let the users choose which they prefer.
