I a mot able to find information on what apps supports managed users. The main reason I paid for Plex premium is so I can restrict Kids account to access Adult content, but only the web app supports this. Xbox 360 app, Samsung apps nor iPad app allow me to log in as a user so the allowable content is accessed.
Am I blind? How can I configure this? If I can't achieve this, the whole Plex concept is useless.
Currently Managed users can only be used by Plex Web, Roku, and Plex Home Theatre.
The Xbox One app can have users as you want, but you would need a Plex.tv account and have invited them to plex home. I don't believe the Xbox 360 application has added this feature yet, but might be worth looking into.
What a load of crap! Advertised all over the website is restrict content by user, watch on any device, etc.
Except it only works on the one PC plex is installed on.
So i stupidly just bought the plex pass to add users. Now I find out I can add users all I want they can't access anything unless they buy the paid app. So I paid $40 to find out that I should have just stayed with Kodi.
Thanks for all the false advertising and scamming me out of $40.

You bought a PlexPass JUST to share your server? There is no need for PlexPass to do that.

No. I bought a Plex Pass so I could create user accounts that would limit content. I had no problem using the many apps on Android that let you navigate to the server and watch on device, stream to chromecast or xbox, or download. the problem was I could not limit the content unless I set up 'server' app with a limited library. That would prevent the kids from watching R movies but would mean my wife would have to navigate the NAS folders to watch My Cousin Vinny.
Exactly my point. I need to know ASAP if Plex Pass will eventually allow for all the apps to use the capabilities of Managed Users. It makes no sense no to have in the Samsung apps or Ipad or xbox as those are the devices I use the most.
Is there any other way to do this? My example again is if my kids are accessing, I only want them to see kids movies.

The only way I know of is this:
Put all of your family friendly content into Plex libraries.
Let the kids and the wife use plex
You use a less user friendly app to navigate to R movies (on Android; ES File explorer, BubbleUpnp, LocalCast)
I store my media on a NAS (WD MyCloud) which has media software running. The software allows me to say only my PC running Plex and my cell phone can connect to the server/NAS. This prevents the kids from discovering they can use the Xbox to go directly to the NAS and watch Caligula.
Not ideal but it is the best I can do for right now unless someone else has a better idea.
