Xbox One - An error occurred while attempting to play this video.

Hi!

 

I'm getting the error "An error occurred while attempting to play this video." when i'm trying to play videos from my Synology (mkv, avi, mp4 etc.)

 

Any ideas?

That's because you are not a plex pass member which means you couldn't have an issue with the xbox application because you don't have access. Plex pass accounts are denoted on the forums with the plex pass ticket (see to the left).

Or, you aren't using the plex pass associated account on the forum, which is neccessary to access any of the plex pass forums.

Did you solve this problem? I am now having this problem with the latest version of plex on my synology and my Xbox One

i have same problem with lates update in my minix z64 android box

Same here with Minix Z64A: “an error occurred while attempting to play this video”. Restarting server / app does not help. Server is running on Windows Home Server.
