Xbox One App on a local network

HI, i’m in the process of moving house (and internet provider) so I’ll be without internet proper for a few days at my new place. I have my Plex Server connected on the same network as my Xbox One. My question is, will the Plex app for the Xbox work on a Local Network or will I have to use the DLNA option on the server?

No, it will not work without an internet connection. Currently, the Plex App is not allowed to browse the local network to look for the server. Because of that the App must find your server’s local address and then make the direct connection over the LAN from that information.

Thanks, i’ll just turn on DLNA until they connect the internet back up :slight_smile:
