I recently noticed now that with the Xbox One Plex app the audio when playing music from my MP3 library seems to not output in stereo anymore…this is preventing me from applying any DSP programs on my receiver to it (making it not sound nearly as good). I don’t believe I’ve changed anything on my receiver at this point, and it seems to be treating the audio as if it’s receiving a full 7.1 signal (except of course I get no sound from the surrounds and rear speakers) with no way to fix it.
Can confirm the current behavior. I can’t say if it’s new or not because I didn’t look and seldom play music through plex, but when I do, my receiver is showing it as a 1.5mbit DTS 5.1 stream.
