XBOX One Plex App- Is it Using Internet or DLNA?

I just changed internet providers and got a data alert already from them that I went over 250GB. I am thinking a lot of it may be coming from PLEX as we use it a lot and it may be coming from my Plex server via the internet rather than DLNA.

 

How can I check that the XBOX One via the Plex App is getting my collection locally rather than routing through the internet?

As for your title it is using neither.

Because the app is restricted to xbox one itself it requires an internet connection so it can look up the server address from plex.tv, after that everything is done locally.  But just because it is done locally, doesn't make it DLNA.

Thanks...just want to make sure it does the rest of the streaming locally...something is bleeding my internet data...
