Thank you very much for this update. PLEX Home was heavily needed. Only thing missing now on Xbox One is the ability to Direct Play/Direct Stream with soft subtitles. FPS switching would be nice, but not possible with current rules for third party apps. Maybe when UWP comes to XB1.

No update for Alaska (so I assume all West Coast) yet. My fingers are crossed that the unlisted fixes include the application working on XBox One!

Plex update is looking good! Thanks for Plex Home. Just one suggested enhancementā¦can we get the ability to āattachā a home user to an xbox profile? Iād like to set it up so when I login on my xbox profile it connects to my Plex user, but when my kids login to xbox it connects to their Plex user. Right now I can automatically login to only one Plex user, but Iād rather it be a different config for each xbox user. I know this can be done via the old method, but using managed users would be preferred.
Had a quick play around tonight - seems nice.
Unfortunately channels that live stream audio and video still seem to be broken, the NASA TV and TuneIn Radio channels for example.
Would be nice if these worked and the direct stream of subtitles if itās possible on XB1.
For now I think I might invest in an Nvidia Shield TV and plug this into the Xbox HDMI-in port, I think that supports pretty much everything I need right now.

Could be caused by re-creating the cache, I could see my NAS CPU going to 90+% when I entered the movie library and started scrolling. I quit the app and re-opened and the thumbnails are still visible in the library and no CPU spike this time.
I cannot used Plex Companion via either my IPad or my iPhone. Server, Xbox One, iPhone & iPad software are all updated. I select the Xbox One in either the iPhone or iPad Plex appās Player button, it highlights the Xbox, but media will not play on the Xbox. On the flinging app the little yellow wheel just spins and spins. I have tested flinging content between the iPhone and iPad and it works perfectly.
Iām having the same problem as @abeirnes but with my server on my windows 10 PC. Tried killing the Plex on Xbox One and resetting the server but to no avail. Also it appears lyrics are not working on my Xbox One. Tried a few songs that show they have lyrics on the server but donāt see where to enable them on the Xbox One.
The update was just released for the west coast. Unfortunately, the update is worse than the previous release. It cannot even see any servers at all. Please, please test before releasing. Thanks.

When I try to use the āPlay Show/Seasonā button, it just starts at the beginning of the ānewā episode. If Iām correct it should start where I left (somewhere in the previous episode)ā¦

I think this was happening to me too - not quite bad enough for me to be certain, but definitely seemed more sluggish. Perhaps as a result of fixing some of the other library loading issues maybe?

There are some server fixes coming for a bug with Plex Companion that affects the Xbox One app.

Are your servers connected to plex.tv?

If you play from the show or season level it will start the first unwatched episode and then play following ones automatically.
For the others, please create a separate thread for any issues with the new update so we can address them properly instead of getting lost in this update news thread!
