Xbox Series X green screen when playing h.265 4k files

Hi everyone. 1080p atmos files are fine having issues with 4k h.265 files where the screen turns green

On your plex server dashboard (parameters), launch the movie and see if there is transcoding happening.

Hi the Plex dashboard shows the file is direct playing. I have enable audio passthrough on the series x but still get the green screen. Maybe 4k HDR 10bit files are not supported on the series x? I have no issues on the NVIDIA SHIELD

My setup :

• Nvidia Shield Pro (Plex Server is running on it)
• Synology DS420+ (Share the movies)
• Xbox Serie X (Have a plex client installed on it)

I have tried several (~10 movies) 4K in HEVC Main 10 HDR and all the movies are working great. Have you tried to play other movies with the same HEVC profile (Main 10 HDR) ?
It could be an issue with the movie.

I have one 4K movie with the same properties than the 10 others movies I have tried and this movie is always transcoded by plex from 4K to 1080p when I try to play it on the Serie X (do not know why). No issue when I try to play it on the Shield TV Pro.

In your example the movie is in 1080p, so I really think this is coming from something in the encoded file that the plex client on the Serie X do not like.

Synology DS418Play which stores my files and has the plex server installed.

Xbox Series X with plex installed

I have tried another file which is 4K HDR H.265/HEVC but get the same green screen and plex shows it as direct playing.
