My Xbox One (2.0.5.70) has been struggling to play back transcoded media from my Windows Plex server (1.10.1.4602-f54242b6b). After 10-30 seconds it will pause and buffer until it says that “the video did not start playing in time”.
I’m really struggling to diagnose this myself. The content is on a NAS connected to the server wired at 1 Gbps. The server is connected to the router wirelessly at 1.3 Gbps (it actually is, they’re not physically far apart and they’re a DSL-AC68U and a PCE-AC68). The router is connected to the Xbox over powerline Ethernet at approx. 100 Mbps. So I’m pretty sure it’s not the network. I enabled verbose logging and the transcoding speed is averaging 10. From what I’ve gathered I think that the transcoder is going into sloth mode and isn’t coming back from it, but I could be wrong.
I would really appreciate any help figuring out what’s going wrong. I attached logs (without verbose logging). Thank you in advance
