Xbox (UK) Freeview HD Tuner

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can help? I’ve got an Xbox One UK Freeview HD TV Tuner connected to my PMS running Win10.

In Device Manager it shows as an Xbox USB Tuner, but I can’t seem to get any drivers working with it at all.

I’ve tried Hauppauge’s WinTV8 and 955q (saw this in another post) exe’s, and both fail with Unable to Find Hardware.

I’ve tried manually selecting the INF file and selecting different variants but with no success.

Am I missing something obvious.

If the WinTV8 client also fails, then it’s likely a driver issue.

Thanks for replying, I guessed it was an OS Driver issue - I just can’t seem to figure out which is the correct driver for Windows for this tuner…

Oops, I think I made a mistake. I got the Microsoft Xbox TV tuner, not the Happuage branded one…

@martadams89 - so the cheap xbox one doesnt work? balls to it!
