Xml epg

Has anyone tried https://koditvepg.com/ as an xml source for the EPG? If so, how was it (ideally UK based).

Don’t know but, despite its tag line, SchedulesDirect is actually a little cheaper. I use it (I’m in the UK) and it works well.

Koditvepg seems to offer mainly 3-5 days of schedule which sounds appalling to me. I get 11 days (min) for the channels I use with SchedulesDirect. …from the koditvepg FAQ:

How many days of Program Guide can I see in my EPG?
We offer EPG between 3 - 5 days if we have enough data, otherwise it depends on the sources.

JCHH, if you don’t mind my asking, what format are you downloading from SD, and are you transforming it before import into Plex? This has been on my list to investigate for a while.

I was about to ask the same. It only supports xml for us and Canada. Do you transform the json to xml yourself before it goes to plex?

I use an app called mc2xml which takes the data from SD and converts it to an xml file that Plex can use. I have scheduled it to run once/day in the background

Thank you!
