Got the app to work the first time i installed it (looks good)
After about 10 mins I got XPlay keeps stopping. tried again and will not even start just XPlay keeps stopping
tried installing on my phone same XPlay keeps stopping

What did you do this 10 minutes?
Don’t need to install the app on phone or tablet. It’s only for TVs now, so I didn’t try even start it on other devices.
Selected direct play and tried a 4K film that plex client does not play. It played perfect in XPlay
Just tried reinstalling and selecting plex cloud and that is working ok, just my server? I will reboot the server and let you know how i get on
strange reboot my server and XPlay will not connect to it. as soon as i select my server XPlay crashes

I am from germany and i hope my english is good enough, otherwise, if you cant understand something, just ask :).
First things first:
At the first try i couldnt start my Server, after i used the Plex Link Code it just couldnt connectt to my lokal server, but then, i dont know why, it suddenly worked.
“Home Menu”
I would like it better if the most left continue watched Movie/TV series would be much smaller, at very best just the First Line would be “Continue Watching” and the second Line “Recently Added”.
„Settings“
I really missed the „Passthrough“ here, i guess thats just in work right now?
Cause all my Movies will play in Multi In, no DTS-HD, TrueHD, DTS:X etc.
„More Actions“
I love the „View Grid Size“ here
Maybe it could be possible to „Scroll“ down the movies, not just to the right? Its only 1 Step to the right with one „click“ it really takes forever to go to the latest Movies 
I know you got the ABC at the bottom, but everytime i want to use it i will get kicked out of Xplay and have to log in again to my Server.
So thats the „Most badly issues“ i had with this right for the moment, but overall it really looks great.

I also miss any Information or audio/subtitle settings while watching a movie.
and maybe its possible to skip the 10 or 15 seconds of a movie/tv series with the left/right button of a remote?
If i press these buttons, the menu for playback/pause etc will open.

Forgot to mention a really important thing > HDR doesnt Work.
After the first test we have:
- Some issues related to the connection to servers. Maybe because of secure connection. Need to check.
- Crashes during playing video or straight after starting the app. Need to check.
- Sometimes UI looks not as good as it should. Need to polish UI, but I need screenshots at least to get what is needed to be made. Information about screen size and resolution
- To improve subtitles functionality
- To add the functional that is missed now
- To improve usability (remote and so on)

It was a bug.
So the most important thing now is to stop crashes. I’m working on it

But maybe you can use (or set an option for it) this Layout for the Home Menu.
So the first Line would be “continue watching” and the second “recently added”.
And right now the sorting direction is going down and then to the right.

But maybe its possible to scroll down (as i mentioned before) and the direction would be first to the right and then down?

Fixed the bug with secure connections. If anyone had crashes on the starting you need to update the app. The same link in PM
I guess it’s better for everybody to update the app.

I understood what you meant. Hope 
I don’t mind to add such an option in the app but little bit later.

I plan to release next version in about a week
I’ve created a bug tracker on the Github.
You could write about bugs or suggestions there too. I guess it would be more clearly to understand what is happening in the development of the app
Few things noticed, let me know if you’d prefer at GitHub:
- Dashboard → Continue watching → posters for TV shows. Would look much better using the TV show season poster as opposed to the landscape background cropped to portrait. Movies look perfect just using their poster
- Dashboard → Left menu → Recently added → posters for movies. The unwatched triangle top left is replaced by a square with a number, similar to TV shows with number of unwatched episodes, in some cases. Screenshot attached
- Dashboard → Left menu → Recently added → posters for TV shows. Same as above, some singular episodes, see Chicago PD, have numbers and not watched triangle. Same screenshot, and for reference, this particular episode has actually been watched so shouldn’t have a triangle OR square
- Dashboard → Left menu → Recently added → posters for TV shows. Again, it would look better with a season poster, as opposed to a cropped portrait from landscape background shot
As a note, playback of HD and SD has so far been flawless.
