My readynas uses version 0.9.16.6
I need shared libraries as much as possible variants … TV shows, movies, pictures and music
I’ll just sure that it can parse data from PMS older version and will fix communication with it
Can you share with me some libs?

Not sure what webOS “light” meant for, but PF1500W projector just came out this year and I think it runs a regular version of webOS which is 3.00.17 at this point. There are other apps like Netflix and Hulu as wells as Plex up already on the store, so I assume at least no technical limitation for providing your app. Could you take a look at it?
Ive submited 1:1 inquery to LG team about making it compatible with PF1500W projector. I’ll let you know the result of inquiry
I noticed that the clock used in the app is all wrong. When I check the time of the TV itself (in settings) it’s correct. Can’t adjust anything in XPlay though. I don’t really care (I would rather get rid of the clock all together) but maybe something you can look into.

@bublikoff is there any chance that you could add support for LG PF1500W projector? This is basically a smart TV based on webOS 3, just in a form of projector. The official Plex app can be already installed, but there’s a serious issue (forgetting all settings including sign-in after reboot) outlives its usefulness, and seems like no one in the dev cares of it.
try now … here is the answer from LG

Anyone with old PMS version (older than 1.3)? Who can share some libs for testing
Just wanted to give my share of thanks to you. The original Plex app on my LG was working ok until i enabled subtitles (external srt). From then on Plex wanted to transcode the movie which my Diskstation just can’t handle. I was already giving up on Plex when i read about XPlay. I tried something with subtitles and it streamed without killing my NAS.
I’m currently in the demo phase and quite pleased with the experience. On thing though. During my tests i did a lot of play, pause, stop, go back etc. At one point my tv stopped to respond to the remote. The movie was running but i couldn’t stop, pause or even go to the smart tv menue. I had to shut down the tv via the button under the tv. (un)fortunately i couldn’t reproduce this.
TV is 60UJ6519

Just an update. As i encountered a similar behaviour without XPlay i think my harmony crashed and not the TV.
…Error…
I really love this app, but it’s nearly unusable for me, the trouble with subtitles make it imposible.
@bublikoff It’s goona be fix in the new release? 90% of my films/tvshows include english subtitles and extra srt subtitles that XPlay refuse to show.
Thansk. Apreciate your work.
…Error…
That´s not very helpful, isn´t it ? If you have errors provide logs to DEV so he can fix it…
External srts work fine for me. It’s the main reasoni bought XPlay as it is able to show these srts without transcoding.
Has anyone else with an OLED TV using Xplay noticed “burn in” caused by the media playback progress bar? My 12 month TV is starting to show a grey outline in the exact same spot where the playback bar is. It is only visible on a solid red/pink color, but is there and I’m worried it may get worse.
@bublikoff are you able to think about changing the color of this bar from bright orange to something lighter? Bright red/orange/yellow seem to cause burn in issues with OLEDs.
EDIT: just wanted to clarify i’m not blaming @bublikoff for this. This is more of an LG problem that should’t exist in the first place.

Yeah I read that the LG OLEDs are sensible for yellow/orange and that can cause burn in. It would be in everyone’s best interest to change all the colours. I really don’t care about adding Plex branding, would rather not have burn-in ![]()

Have tried links from this link but all links to windows versions are dead … Ive no extra linux server for installing one more plex server … at least for the moment Ive no extra space for it. Ive sold my old apt and bought a newer one but its not ready for life

I have no exp with OLED technology but really really odd behavior … Ive not even thought about changing color as its … lets say “company theme color”. What color do you offer? I can for example add color theming

That would be great. I would even suggest a black/white/grey theme!
@FransTwisk You’re not switchin off power on your OLED, do you? OLEDs run through “cleaning programs” when they are in stand by to prevent burn in. That’s why you should never switch them off completely.
