User id is just internal Plex account id … everywhere you will use the activated or paid account or whatever you call it demo limits will be removed … in case you will switch differ Plex account demo limits will be restored. just get back to activated account. TV amount is not are not limited

I have LG webos3.5 on my LG C7 OLED with XPLAY along with PLEX both access plex media server on MY Synology NAS
XPLAY plays subtitles great without transcoding which plex client fails
howerver i was trying 4K GODs of Egypt 4K—HEVC on XPLAY it did not play and gave me an error not supported format although the same Movie is playing on PLEX client no problem without transcoding i even tried to activate transcoding on XPLAY it wouldn’t play the file at all (Gods.of.Egypt.2016.2160p.BluRay.REMUX.HEVC.DTS-X.7.1-FGT)
i tried another 4k file LOGAN and it is working fine with subtitles although it is the same 4K -Hevc but audio is not DTS
what am i doing wrong here thanks
For the moment I don’t have the answer. I do have some ideas … but I need to collect more information … more sample videos.
As for eg … for the moment I do test new version and tried one new movies … and I was surprised that it plays well video stream but audio keeps silent and it was webOS 3.x
So Ive tried to play the same media on webOS 1.x and … everything played well … no audio issue.
What the difference between webOS 1.x and webOS 3.x I was always thought that newer is better … but is this valid for all situations?!

thanks a million bublikoff yes its not valid probably a bug or something i just watched bbc planet earth II and it played flawlessly 4k HDR (i think the problem with the Gods of Egypt is in audio which is DTS x 7.1 with XPLAY but I’m just guessing )

Hello! I’d like to force the audio on the ARC output only when I’m using plex or xplay. I’m not interested to use my AV ampli for normal tv. Is there the possibility to do that?

There is no such ability on webOS TV … at least for HTML based apps

I own an oled C7V with the latest webos and I am interested in testing your application and giving you back feedback so we can make it perfect!
I mainly use direct play , because my plex server is on a windows stick. Everything plays like a charm untill now.
Is there a way we can watch a trailer for each movie? Also, as proposed above, rating from 1 to 10 would be preferred. For example, I only watch movies with rating > 7 (although I may have already downloaded it for image and sound check)

Using 1 to 5 rating would lead me to watch either bad movies (rating 3 is lower than 7) or miss a good movie (rating 4 is actually 8, which is way more than 7). Of course this means, you have access to the real rating based to 1-10 system, not just multiply 1-5 by 2…
