When you play any TV Shows it does not play the last episode that currently want to continue, instead it play the final episode of that particular season.
You cannot use forward button on the remote now to skip ahead instead you must use click on the video player itself.
Overall, nice try. Please re-patch the whole thing to work as before. and I already paid for this. Been using the old version since last year.
The talk about the new UI has been going on for months, the developer stated multiple times that he knows the new UI wonāt please everyone. He requested LG to post the new version as a separate download, so the user could choose, which was denied by LG.
He has also stated that he is investigating the option to ārollbackā to the old UI as an option within the new app.
And letās face it, we only went to XPlay because the official Plex apps are worse.
If the new UI really breaks something for you, just use the internal DLNA player for the time being.
Iām personally holding of for now, as I want the option to choose. Just hoping the 5 year old brat wonāt accidentally update.
Have loved Xplay since you started making it, used it before it was part of the LG store and i am a paying user⦠The new update however, is⦠A good try but really really bad, so many things you can no longer do, it looks good but does not work well. I appreciate you trying to make the best app you can, but would there be an option to maybe make a dual version? So you can keep using the old āskinā with the same functions etc or for those who want, the new one? So that the user can chose what version they want to use? If not, my days of using Xplay are over unfortunatlyā¦
Bought the XPlay app on 2017/12/18. Vastly superior experience to the official Plex app on my 65ā LG C7P. Much faster browsing the UI, better information density (official app sacrifices info density for (my opinion) unattractive and poorly laid out visuals).
Unfortunately, I updated my XPlay app a couple days ago and am suffering from the infinite loop ālinking bugā that others have mentioned above. Canāt use the app or see the new UI yet.
Just wanted to add a +1 to the chorus that there are currently issues, as well as to express my appreciation to the developer for what has been almost a year of a vastly better app than the official release. Looking forward to things getting back on track with XPlay, thank you for your time and efforts!

I canāt access all my home users, only 3, so not everyone can show their shows anymore.
They should have left the interface alone and just improved on the core of the program.
I need a way to downgrade back toi the old version. This one is UN-usable
XPlay is still much better than the official app, but I canāt seem to auto-login, play different quality, fast forward, reverse with the arrow keys and a bunch of other stuff with the update. Is there anyway to downgrade?
Man, this new UI⦠why did you make pop-out navigation controls? why does it show so many different loading screens now (literally shows it loading the artwork)? I do like how granular the settings are. Why did auto login get removed?
Also, the āplay randomā button is missing from within a TV show folder. The āplay randomā button is in the parent view for the TV shows.

The menus in the app still work just fine for me. But NOTHING will play, whenever I try to play a movie or TV-show it just keeps loading and loading. It registers as playing on the plex server. But thereās no progress on the movie. It just says āusername is playing blablablaā. And on the app it just loads and loads.
I updated Xplay on my B6 Oled and I gotta say, I like the new version. I love that there is the option for star ratings now and it feels smooth overall. Personally wasnāt a big fan of the old UI though.
The reason I paid for your app (xplay) is because the UI of the official app is not great. Unfortunately now this is the same⦠can we have a option to revert, or how can I downgrade versions?
I was a very happy user of XPlay for last year, it made my TV soooo much better just because of your piece of great software. Really appreciate your effort to make XPlay better and I donāt know if this version got on LG Content Store by accident or not. It really have quite a few bugs. I would gladly pay again just to get the old working version again. Where can we get any information about what can we expect in the near future. Thanks.
