Hi. with the recent update of Xplay. It does not give me a trial period option. and I want to know if buying the application. I can enjoy it on the 2 TVs that I have at home
I have this problem too, it keeps asking me to input the code over and over.
I have the new version installed and noticed that when I view tv shows I have to select sort by recently added each time to get it to sort.
I donāt appear to have any other sort options anymore either.
Any suggestions?

As other users I updated a few days ago without checking if it was usefull, i mean major change who could make this even better. Letās face it, we choose xplay because itās better technically (no lag with external sub for instance) but also because the UI was better.
I get the fact that the new āupdateā was not suppose to be released. Here i just want to share the trouble iāve encountered. To be honest when i saw the first time the new UI i felt something went wrong
My setup LG40LF632V with Synology ds218play (yes i found a Plex app for this)
- resume playing does work, it goes back were i was checking the file using the Plex app on my computer where i manage the content of my server. Even at the end of the movie, instead of going back to that movie page it resume at the wrong time. I suppose itās the loop problem mentioned by other users.
- the homepage itās no user friendly, too big image. no menu visible. The previous"on deck" was way better. There is even less option. In a word awful
- the option of sorting/filter by āunwatchedā has disappeared from the top menu, that annoys me the most, i have too many movies in stock i have to browse every page to look for something to watch.
- the āloading image and contentā message each time you change page, unnecessary i guess. We all know what the app is doing, kind of Captain Obvious feel
- have to reset the filter list instead of hiting the back button on the remote. odd
Is there an option to roll back to previous version or you have to make an update with the old look if LG doesnāt want to remove the v2.187.292 app ?

After the update, the activation code does not work for me. What should I do fix this? I have paid for the app.
Would love if its possible to do a rollback to the previous Version.
New version is pretty good, except for no granular control over transcoding options, and rewind button fast forwards instead!
I also find the new app not bad.
For me, the worst thing right now itās that thereās no way to save the settings. Each time I restart the app I have to input all custom values again and again. Thatās pretty annoying.
My lg C7 xplay app just updated to this version 2.189.171
Tv is current firmware.
I get logon screen to select user then fails to login going back to selecting user
Gone to Plex app for now unless someone knows a fix ?

Anyone having problem with interlaced videos? Like 720i. I know itās not a common format, but all movements are stuttering! Also I canāt find a way to āPlay Verizonā¦ā after I optimized those videos. Any advices?
I have to say, the most disappointing thing here is simply the lack of interaction/information on the part of the developer. Iāve written several apps in my life, and have provided the technical support for it myself. Iāve always put an lot of effort into supporting my users, even when the app was completely free. Given that xplay required people to pay for it, iām highly surprised by how the developer has gone dark, leaving so many with either regressed software, or completely non-functioning software.
@bublikoff Please consider being more involved with the community around your product. People would very much appreciate knowing that their concerns are being heard.
i like xplay (when it works that is) the new interface is not bad at all, i liked the previous one too, but a change now and then is in the order of thingsā¦
@bublikoff why does Xplay have no playlists? Or is it me who canāt find them?
Yes, at least a short information on if and when a corrected version will be available at LG store would be very much appreciated by the users Iām sureā¦

I can not seem to find an option to select which version to play if there are multiple versions available for the same movie, was this functionality removed?
I wanted to watch a movie last night with kids with that had two version one 1080p with English audio and a 720p dubbed version.
I would also like to go back to the previous version.
Oh, I just noticed the option for subtitle-offset! That makes me really happy!
So far everything seems to work, just some minor bugs but nothing serious. Because of the mixed results Iāll write down my setup:
TV: OLED55E7N with software version 04.70.85
XPlay: version 2.187.292
Plex Server: 1.13.9.5439
