Hello, maybe I’m blind. I search in the new client the read / unread filter.

Any news about the correct version?

@bublikoff, in the meanwhile you could just advertise the users (via email) to postpone the update until the right version is published. I’ve seen that more and more users got stuck with this issue.

Payed for app too. I am stuck in PIN loop as well

Stuck on the PIN loop, on my main TV. My bedroom TV has the old app. I never leave the bedroom anymore.

Stuck in the PIN loop also… no escape…

Unusable!

-You can only choose between 3 users (I have 5)
-Any seasons higher than 8 you can’t select or goto
-doesn’t save settings changes (TV series tunes always go back to enabled)
-interface is not intuitive (please go back to the old version)

My plex experience has been ruined, I expect better support for something you PAY for.

Bug: If you change sorted by to “date added” it doesn’t save, so the next time you open the view it is still in alphabetical sorting.

I have been patiently waiting for an update to hit the lg store. Its been weeks, im stuck in a pin loop like everyone else. I paid for it. You must be able to release usb version to let us downgrade. Sort it out!

I am using LGTV.
I used XPLAY well in previous versions.
However, after updating, it is not connected with PLEX server.
“Failed to communicate with Plex-API”
I pressed the “UNLINK” button and tried it several times.
What is the problem?

I was able to get out of the incorrect pin loop by removing my account pin via plex’s website directions - https://support.plex.tv/articles/204245033-i-forgot-my-plex-account-pin-how-can-i-reset-it-how-can-i-change-my-pin/ .

I can now login without a pin, haven’t tried adding a pin back yet. I still have some issues though, Xplay will always connect to a friend’s remote server instead of my own local server. Leaving me to manually go through the menu to select my local server each time I use the app. I know I can delete the remote server and this would likely solve the issue but we shouldn’t have to remove our PIN and remove any friend’s remote servers in order to fix these problems!

Regarding new version:

  1. “Shuffle” button disappeared from everywhere except top level of a library. We’ve used shuffle in specific tv series folder (or even season) for showing cartoons to a child. Now this feature is gone. Why?

  2. Random tv episodes are starting to play from the start when they has ended. I can’t see any pattern here, just random episodes are randomly starting over and over.

  3. We often turn off TV in the middle of cartoon episode. When Xplay is opening some of these abandoned episodes next time after previous episode was ended, this episode starts playing from the middle without asking! Now half of the our cartoon collection is starting from random points, it’s very frustrating. Can you make this feature switchable in the settings?

Still unable to use XPlay after the update on Oct 11. My problem seems to be different from others, may I just ask if anybody is experiencing anything similar? I could link my account to Plex flawlessly, and the navigation through the libraries works perfectly. The server responds. Yet, when I try to play anything, XPlay is stuck waiting for the stream to load, just spinning a red wheel around forever. It all works well with Plex official client, so I assume this is not to do with the server or the network.

I have this exact problem too. Been trying to fix it by reinstalling the app multiple times. But nothing works. I always come to the point where I play the movie and it keeps on loading and loading. It registers as playing on the server, but nothing plays in the client.

As mentioned, LG published a really old beta of the V2 app and the whole process of getting an update approved is very slow from LG’s side. Let’s wait for LG to approve the actual stable version, then it will be clear which bugs will already be resolved and which still needs fixing (which will go faster since @bublikoff will then be able to push updates over internet instead of waiting for LG to approve them).

Another issue. Movies are not saving if you stop whilst watching it. When I resume I need to fast forward to where I was. This is frustrating.

Thai subtitles now trigger transcoding. This worked before without transcoding. Any other external SRT works fine, just thai that now needs transcoding. Any fix?
