People… I can understand not being happy with certain changes like the UI.
But please, understand that the developer has not abandoned us. He is actually very active.

No I still have this problem and haven’t found a way around it. I’m using a LG B7V, plex server on Ubuntu 18.04.

@bublikoff: I have used up to now playz, but after an update of my television the application does not function any more. Now I would try out with pleasure XPlay, and if I like this, shop of course. Can I test XPlay?

Where do you want input on bugs and design fixes? I see that you deleted the github page for the current version, where I had a few issues posted.
Right now there is an UI annoyance, where you can’t use a multi remote(not the original magic remote) to scroll down to episode below what are initially shown. To reproduce: Try to scroll to let’s say episode 15 of a show without using the “scroller” on the magic remote. Try using only up/down and ok/back.
Then there is an issue if you press “play” on an show it starts a “queue” with all of the episodes that are available, starting from s01e01, with no regards to if them are marked as watched or not. It would be really good if this would just start to play the next unwatched episode.
And then I have more issues with playback with this new version than with the old. I get more playback crashes in the middle of files playing than ever before. How/where do you want this reported?

Out of the sudden the in-app update worked now. But unfortunately still red circle for any direct play source. On twitter @lgxplay there was a poll regarding “disabling media art by default”. Really? Not to be rude, but I believe this kind of discussion should come after core functionality issues (e.g. PIN code issue, e.g. red circle issue) were tackled. I am waiting patiently, but unfortunately cannot resist to express my surprise…

I seem to have the red circle issue on a webos 1 tv with movies. Tvshows play fine.
Still have red circle issue with whatever I try to play. Absolutely nothing will play.
Plexserver on Ubuntu. Xplay version 2.713.181 on LG OLED55B7V. Direct play or transcode, both give me the red circle.

still missing below fixes:
- can not select seasons higher than season 8
- Still can not do “play random” within a single show or within a single season
- Several videos now suddenly stutter (previously no problem). The same videos play fine using LG “smart share”

I never had problems when playing 4K movie SDR and HDR 10Bits.
I’m also happily stuck in pin mode. I’ve tried reinstalling, unplugging tv, any other options?

I too am experiencing issues after this most recent update. Multi-line subtitles are not playing properly. They are srt files and were working fine in the previous version. Can’t figure out if its a setting that I’m missing, or if its just not going to work with this version.
