The problem with the dashboard for the main user is solved !!! Thanks for the update !
However, there is still a problem with the resume function.
But I noticed a few things:
When you start a video and stop the video a few seconds later, the resume function works.
But if we start a video and we stop video 20 or
30 minutes later, the resume function does not work and the video is marked as view.
Maybe a timeout or keepalive somewhere ???

I just started trying out the Xplay Demo.
ASUSTOR AS3102T + LG 42LB650V
I really like it, but unfortunately the transcoding does not work. The original Plex application works with transcoding (only slow).
Is this because of the demo?

I have just realized, that Xplay is now capable of selecting audio tracks and the stream continues direct playing on LG C8 with latest updates. I am running PMS on QNAP with the newest version. I have tried several files and they all seem to work.
Tried the same files with native Plex app and most of them are also direct playing while choosing a different language (some are still transcoding the video stream when changing the language). Before today, a change in audio streams always triggerd the server to transcode.
Anyone else with this rather pleasant observation? Couldnāt find any changelogs to double check
The only thing I need xplay to do it doesnāt do,
which is resumeā¦ Very upsetting.
āContinue watching (on deck)ā isnāt working as it should, also.
Just the non completely played media is there (and the last one partially seen isnāt listed as the first!).
The next episodes are not showing as before, so you have to browse through the library, look for the series and play the next episode from thereā¦

With the latest version (2.715.815), my TV (WebOS 2.2) bug when the application goes to sleep ā¦ Either the application restarts to free memory, or my TV reboots brutally ā¦
Would it be possible to have changelogs when publishing new versions?

I wouldnāt hold my breath for any new functions or rectifications.
The resume function has been broken for many months.
Also itās not really resume per se that doesnāt work, itās the way the app is communicating to the plex server in terms of watch count / location. I say this because on my other LG TV which runs v1 of xplay, when I stop a movie or show there, it resumes perfectly in this V2 version. What this version cannot do is set the correct parameters of where you stop the film/episode.
It does not look like there is a light at the end of this tunnel anytime soon.
Biggest mistake I ever made was purchasing a non Android TV, never again, only Sony from now on!
Yup. I cannot express how frustrated i am. I had a perfectly working app that served my needs well. Then it was updated, and now has been perpetually broken for more than a year, with zero willingness to let users go back and use the simple and stable version that just worked. Fortunately, it was only a few dollars. But it still feels like i was ripped off since i paid for something that was taken away.

And now, in the version 2.715.816, the episodes of the TV series do not keep going ā¦ Itās the same episode that is played in a loop ā¦

so I noticed when I remove audio tracks I donāt need with MKVToolNix for example one file includes Atmos, AC3 tracks but I want to keep Atmos only, after that the audio track wonāt work with XPlay but with Plex app it works, this did work previously with XPlay too, what happened?
Atmos works on PMP?
How long does payment processing take? Website says itās about 5 minutes or a little bit longer but confirmation mail didnāt arrived even after 2 hours and app still says the demo is expired.

PMS do remember last last playback time. In my test environment I do not have problem with restoring it. There was problem during first about 30seconds PMS did not want to store it and I had to implement own hack to do that. And this hack was implemented several month ago. If you have abit more information about probelm you could film it and email to me.

I am still in V1 and I have problems with some subtitles / audio tracks.
First subtitles or first audio track can be played without transcoding but others tracks need transcoding. In Plex app or in the default LG player this others tracks donāt need transcoding and play well.
If I edit the mkv and change the audio track order or remove a track in the mkv, Xplay donāt need transcoding anaymore.
So, is this problem solved in V2 ? Should I upgrade to V2 ?

I emailed you as per request, and even pasted on your twitter this video taken in April to which you had nil response.
This is an issue obviously affecting multiple users as you see scrolling up this forum.
As stated before I donāt care about any features or bugs apart from this as this issue makes this app useless to me.
Also even if you leave the movie to play for 20 minutes (let alone over 30 sec) still same issue.
V2 does NOT store resume info on Plex server for myself and many other users - HOWEVER resumes it OK if V1 stores the info (TV in other room which thankfully I didnāt update).
Is there no way you can email us V1 so we can use it via USB method ?
I donāt understand why this is not a plausible idea?? - please elaborate in detail.
