Try Bulgaria it’s there.
Ok, xplay has been working for a year without issues. And from nowhere I got the red circle of death again. I didn’t update the tv firmware or any app at all. So this is really confusing. What could be causing this?
nope ![]()
can someone just post a link to the manual installer, please? i’ve tried every country in the list but it simply does not exist anywhere
@bublikoff bro Post update please?!
Update please…
Dead…
i have xplay and plex server 1.18 on Synology. I sticked with this version because at certain point in time, upgrading caused movies to be unplayable by xplay due to the fact it is too outdated.
Now DMS7 has been released. Do you suggest to stay with DSM 6 and hopefully wait for next version of xplay, or upgrade to DSM 7 and Plex 1.23 ?
Thanks
Any news?
Live, XPlay, LIVE!
I’d pay for a new version
i got new lg tv yesterday and cannot install it
- Version for webOS 5 and 6 is available now. It took more than two months to approve it for apps store. For the moment it has only EN and DE translation. But if someone want to help in translation welcome.
- I can also try to build version for webOS 4 but I can not test it on my side. Have tried to test it on webOS 4 but emulator works strange and Ive no idea if it will work on real device.
- For the moment I can not build XPlay v3 for webOS 1-3 due to it uses old web engine (old technologies).
- I’ll try to prepare bugfix release for XPlay v2
PS
Some screenshots from v3
Update for WebOS 3.5 please.
I also own webOS 3.5 TV … but for the moment I can only prepare bugfix update … New version (v3) will not be available on webOS 1.x-3.x because I can not build app for old webOS platforms. At least for the moment app which is used for app release building can not do it. Maybe it will be fixed one day
hey! thanks.
Can you update the v2 version to make it compatible with newer version of Plex Server? Thanks!
Can you list of bugs you would like to be fixed?
Hi
please see here, this message is dated Feb 2020.
Yeah so Xplay broke down with some latest plex versions.
I did some downgrading with my Plex and tested with build 1.18.4.2171-ac2afe5f8 and XPlay works fine. So as of now, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PLEX IF YOU RUN XPLAY!
Basically Xplay can’t reproduce almost anything from that version on. I honestly didn’t try with latest version, as downgrade for Plex server for Synology is tiresome
So my question is: Is safe to update Plex to latest version now? If not, can you please make Xplay be compatble with latest version of Plex? I’m stuck with this version of Plex Server for 6 months now and can’t update to Synology DSM 7 because of this
email me please … xplay@itkey.ru
done thanks
Hi, just found your new xplay v3 version on the LG App Store lately.
But when trying to play a movie with non-supported audio track (e.g. DTS on LG CX) , audio didn‘t get transcoded and movie stays silent.
If the movie got a different audio track which is supported (e.g. german DTS, english AC3) only the native supported track gets played, even when choosing the DTS track.
I‘m using LG CX , latest software - plex server , latest 1.25.x beta and recently downloaded xplay v3 app.
The original plex app will do audio transcoding , but it this app has an option to flag non-supported audio tracks inside the app itself.
Any hints on that ?
App uses system playback functionality … and if we speak about playback without transcoding everything depends from system. Try to use advanced player mode.
Share it with my account … I’ll check
