I am trying to have an guide that has at least today’s full data.
I have a plex Server on a Linux OS, Xteve proxy with a IPTV service that suppied the M3u and XMLTV links.
All is inputted in Xteve and then I use my Xteve IP as my live TV and DVR and my built XMLTV.
All works fine but as of 3-4 PM, Unknown airings shows up for all my channels and once they all are set to unknown, the channels disappear until next morning.
Plex has a scheduled task set for midnight and so does Xteve, which both intend to update the EPG.
I even tried to move the scheduled tasks to noon so that I would at least still have my channels at night but even then, at 6PM now and most are showing Unknown airing…
Would the XMLTV link my service provide supplies me be the issue? Can I use a different XMLTV for any IPTV service?
my service provider is Streams for us. Overall, service works great but EPG seems to be the issue, and as all i’m trying to do is set up DVR to watch later… not very successful so far.
