xTeve on NAS

How do you install xTeve on a Synology NAS system?

check here?

The only options i have on this website is Windows, OS, Linux and FreeBSD. There is a ARM Linux file but that only gives me a file and not a SPK file type.

SPK is a tar ball within a tar ball. Nothing fancy about it.

Just start unrolling it in a subdirectory.

Correct me if I am wrong, But I should just download the windows 64bit file and install it but change my pathway to my server instead of my ‘C’ Drive?

I know nothing of the Plug-in. Sorry
You posted in Synology so I assumed you were looking to install on Synology.

No you are correct, I have a Synology NAS system. I am new to the Synology NAS and I only use it for plex, which gives me a .spk file to install the app. So i am trying to figure out how to install the xTeve file you were talking about earlier.

Do you rename the extension of the ARM file you download?

Plug-ins are Python files. Python is an interpreted language. If you don’t have python on your host, install it. that part is simple.

You put the files in the right locations (manually install it)

Is there a how to tutorial on this? I went to the Synology app store and installed python 3 onto the server and I can figure out how to access it or install the ARM file from xTeve.

Go to the support page (support.plex.tv)

Search “Plug-ins”

You’ll find “How to install a plug-in”
