So recently I noticed that if I am watching a tv show with subtitles, everything is good, BUT, when the next episode starts, the subtitles aren’t on, AND can’t be found either, so to fix it, I have to manually exit the auto playing new episode, go back to the library, and pick the second episode MANUALLY, to get the subtitles back. Super freaking annoying.
The above bug has been expanded to, if I play a file off the on deck, there are no subtitles, I have to again, go to the actual show, and then play it, and subtitles work.
The THIRD new problem I am having specifically with ONE show is that I have the relevant .idx / .sub files saved in same folder and they are obviously called the same …
i.e.
show.name.s03e01.1080p.bluray.x264-rovers.idx
show.name.s03e01.1080p.bluray.x264-rovers.mkv
show.name.s03e01.1080p.bluray.x264-rovers.sub
When I launch the MKV file on Windows, the subtitles are there (obviously) and play just fine…
They are however not detected in Plex Media Server, and subsequently not detected in the Web Player, or the Firestick … this is a NEW BUG… never encountered this before…
Seriously, what gives?? I have tons of other stuff with .idx/.sub – yes it forces a transcode, but it works… this… doesn’t even do that!
