I do not. I thought I resolved my issue by rebuilding the whole Plex server, but the application is constantly losing connection. May you review my logs and let me know what the issue can be? This is really driving me nuts as I never encountered any issues like this in the past 6 years.
Also to answer your question I am using the Plex hosted app or the Plex app on iOS. Can you tell me which txt file I should be looking at with bad scans? I can confirm that all of the data on my drives is intact.
Had 4 further crashes since my last comment - Anything else we can do?
@Zeroknivez Try connecting to your local server to confirm that it’s freeze or unavailable.

In your logs check the Plex Media Scanner Matcher X.log X being a number 1-5 or not present.
@Stevenlr Yes, the entire zip of your Plex Media Server Logs | Plex Support.
Had a crash early hours of this morning, attached a zip of the logs

I am also experiencing the same issue. The server becomes unresponsive, no devices can connect. When I attempt to locally connect to plex on the machine it is installed in I receive a HTTP 503 error.
I confirmed the Plex Media Server process are still active. When I ping the server IP it does return the ping. Manually closing and restarting the Plex program does restore services.
I attached my logs from today.
Sometime between 10am and 3:10pm I experienced the same issue. I did check for a crash report, but nothing generated in the localapp data folder.

I also setup a simple Python script to ping the local sever IP every 15 minutes, below are the results. The script was able to ping the server IP even while it was unresponsive to devices or local connection.

@Atomatth I waited to have a number of crashes to come back with something pertinent.
This morning, I added 8 files
They play well with Plex, VLC and mkvalidator --details "$f" && ffmpeg -v error -i "$f" -f null - 2>"error-ffmpeg-$(basename "$f").txt" returns no error for all files.
I see

then server enters “freeze” state.
Is there a way to get more detailed log from “Plex Transcoder” ?
I also had a freeze after a nightly scan of my music folder (a thread for another day
Side question, I’ve had forever this ERROR - Exception caught determining whether we could skip 'Show/Show Season 1 (6)' ~ Null value not allowed for this type
Is there something I can do ?
@diligiant Are you still observing this issue?
Can you please confirm the state of the following settings?
Settings / Server / General / “Push Notifications”
Settings / Server / Network (with Show Advance) / “Webhooks”
Are they checked or unchecked?
I’m also having issues with PMS locking up on this latest version. Roughly every 24hrs or so. Logs attached. Same symptoms as other users; PMS seemingly somewhat still functions but when I mouse over the icon for it in the taskbar, it terminates and I have to re-start PMS. Until then, content can still be served but direct play stops working, Tautulli stops being able to get artwork from Plex, etc.
I’m also having issues with server freezing and crashing for the last ~6 months - I rebuild the entire server and move it to a new server and still have the same issues. Server will freeze and crash at irregular intervals, but at least once a day

HNY @Atomatth !
On (to receive notifications of play I guess)
On (and one defined in my profile → trakt)
Happy New Year to you too, @diligiant!!
Another user with a similar issue had reported that disabling those two settings has, at least for a time, resolved this issue. If you’re are willing and able, give it a go.
I can try but is there a fix on the way? I know “The last bug is fixed when the last user is dead” but I don’t check boxes for fun, I need those features!
If you don’t know what’s going-on, how can we help pinpoint the problem?
My server is working fine with alerts and webook to trakt.
From past experience and my server freezing I’ve found 2 solutions, and I don’t know if these will help you but here they are anyway.
The first was to quit using DNS over HTTPS in my synology router. Scans would cause the whole server to become unresponsive.
The second time it happened, I updated my Intel NIC drivers and it hasn’t happened since.
@diligiant No problem, I saw a similar issue with a possible workaround and wanted to share.
When the problem occurs, can you go to this url http://localhost:32400/connections?X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx where you put the server token string instead of the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Copy the displayed output to a text file and save it. Restart PMS, grab logs, and DM me both the output file and logs.
To find the token string Finding an authentication token / X-Plex-Token | Plex Support
Tried the solution, but it didn’t work - I 'm still experiencing irregular crashs
@PCmarcondes Since you are on Windows can you please follow these instructions and DM me logs, dump, /connections content file.
I’m still experiencing the issue
I did post my logs a few times, let me know what is needed from me to help?
