ok.
FYI, http://localhost:32400/connections?X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxx is in a deadlock too when this happens.

Yea, issues here since I switched to a new computer with the M1 chip, is the issue.
Files will suddenly stop playing and “cannot find” - but server is up when checking the PLEX webpage to my server. All Looks fine. No issues with wifi or internet.
The TV app will show the triangles of a missing server or link but files play fine on web browser. Turning my TV on or off or quitting PLEX and back in sometimes resolves the issues for 10 minutes but pretty annoying - anyone else with M1 chip mac with this issue??
MORE INFO - MY TV app shows TWO servers with the same name and it is missing a TV SHOW folder (Pinned) - maybe Plex keeps searching for the other server?? But the PLEX on my web browser shows ONLY one server and ALL my TV SHOW lines correctly. There seems to be no way to eliminate the 2nd server from the TV app - I selected the other “nearby” server as my main choice. I tried reloading the PLEX app on my TV, nothing changes.
Do we have any available solution to this?
I’m not always in the house of my Plex server so its becoming a problem having to try fix deadlock issues over and over again.
Perhaps a certain media server version downgrade is available?
I feel you (my kids call me 24/7 when there is an issue). May I suggest you install Tailscale (free) and you’ll be able to access your server wherever you are. That’s not a solution but it might help.
If I may, if the reason ends up having to do with files Plex “doesn’t like” (this was hinted at the beginnning of the thread by someone from Plex I believe), please please make sure the logs reflect that in the future.
thank you.
