  • (OnDeck) Restore ability to disable OnDeck when setting ‘Weeks to consider for OnDeck’ to 0 (#8279)

I’m the lucky guy: it doesn’t work for me. I set it to 0 and all the shows are still “on deck”!
And no matter how many shows I add: “On deck” shows series I’m currently watching plus two shows I watched well before my “week to consider“ setting (2 weeks) and the only way to have them off the “on deck” is to mark the season as “watched”.
Great!!!

Have you tried restarting the server after setting the weeks on deck to 0?

No. I never had to restart it before after changing that setting.
I’ll try.

hubs are now also cached in memory and there may be some tweaks needed there. A restart would start with new cache

just tried:

  1. set “weeks on deck” to 0
  2. stop and restart the server (PMS is running on my QNAP 871)
  3. “on deck” is disabled
  4. set “weeks on deck” back to 2 → “on deck” is still disable
  5. stop and restart PMS
  6. “on deck” is back and now the 2nd season of “Jessica Jones” is not “on deck” anymore (at least!) but the 3rd season of “Shadowhunters” is still “on deck” (guess I can’t get everything “working” as expected)

Thanks for the restart tip.

it must be a caching bug - and we already have an issue raised on this

Will never happen.
We all have been put on ignore by Plex.
It’s a shame too since we all do their testing and they can’t even fix the stuff that’s suppose to work for paying customers…

And yet… they fixed it.

Keep your mindless rants to Facebook where at least your family members might pity you.

not for me.
I just added the first episode of the 7th season of Homeland (I watched the 6th a year ago) and bum! it appeared “On Deck”, even if I have “2 week” for “keep on deck”.

This behavior is wrong (IMHO). “On Deck” should (or at least, give us an option!) show only series I’m currently watching, not something I watched a year ago with new content (of a different season) added later.

and BTW, after a month, the 3rd season of Shadowhunters that appeared “On Deck” with that (infamous) PMS update now isn’t anymore “On Deck” (I haven’t watched any episode of the 3rd season, I haven’t changed any settings).

“On Deck” has a weird behavior.

Fixed? Not a chance.
Issues still here for me.

It’s in the web app and other UNO apps. as other get UNO they will have ability too.
