used the Plex Dev Center kickstarter to create a YouTube channel plugin however when I access the channel it shows the episode listing but when trying to play any of the YouTube videos it states "This channel is currently unavailable"
The channel listing the You Tube users videos is updating but still not playing
if you go to the user channel direct in YouTube then everything is fine.
I am not sure if that kickstarter works anymore. It seems to be using some old code like the "dir." for directory, so I am not sure if the kickstarter can still make a working channel that works with the current version of Plex.
If you want to add YouTube channels by a username or Playlist number, you can save them in your Gmail account and log into the Youtube channel or the Webisdoes channel also lets you add YouTube sites by username or Playlist url.
Thanks for the reply and I really appreciate it after posting this issue in about 3 different places on PLEX forums only to be told that 'you wont get an answer here - try XYZ'
Yeah, that kickstarter should have been taken offline a long time ago, sorry about that. Here is a Github repo for a very basic YouTube based channel that is more up to date: https://github.com/sander1/basic-yt-user-channel.bundle

Seems that repo has been removed. Does anything similar exist that uses the most recent youtube api?
