Your changes could not be saved

I read through the other similar posts and none seem to be the exact issue I am experiencing…

I’m getting the dreaded “Your changes could not be saved” message when updating “Summary” data on “Smart Collections”. This issue does not seem to affect static Collections.

I enabled logging and I’m getting an http 404 error. Looks to me like the URL is not being properly formatted. I am able to update the “Title” and “Sort Title” on my “Smart Collections” without issue. I noticed that the GET string on the Ajax call is not encoded. I thought perhaps there was something in the Summary data I was passing, so I tried updating to “X”. Same http 404 error. Again, the URLs generated for Title and Sort Title vary greatly from those generated for updating Summary data.

For example:

On the failing call to update Summary Data there is a GET string parm of “id” that is not passed on the update to Title or Sort Title.

The base URL is different, too:

Working update
https://255-255-255-255.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.plex.direct:32400/library/sections/1/autocomplete?
Non-working update
https://255-255-255-255.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.plex.direct:32400/library/sections/1/all?

Anyone else seeing this ?

This was working OK prior to the latest update. I was on 1.32.3.7162 prior to my latest update.

Did some more testing this AM, and it seems to only affect that one Collection. I have added several more Smart Collections this AM and they update just fine. I deleted the problematic Smart Collection and re-created it, and now it updates just fine.

Perhaps some processing anomaly … all seems well now.
