hello i have been using plex for about a year until today when i tried to login and i got the Your IP address has been temporarily blocked. error. i dont know what i cold have done wrong could anyone help me? i had to make a new account name just to post this in the forums. my original account is nuke95

IP blocks happen when you try to log into an account to many times with different passwords or try to make many accounts from the same IP address in a short time. They automatically expire after a few hours. email plexpass@plex.tv with your account info and external IP, they might be able to unblock it manually
thanks a lot, i did indeed try to login multiple times and forgot the password. that is what the problem is most likely. thank you so much for the fast response. i will just wait it out.
This is a really stupid way to handle this. I have multiple Plex account holders in my household and one of the other ones can’t remember his password, now I, a lifetime Plex Pass lifetime holder, cannot log into my account because I’m on the same IP address??? And on the phone app, it doesn’t even say anything. It just keeps flashing the login page. Had to try to log in on the computer to even find out that the my “IP address has been temporarily blocked”.
Same issue here. I have a NAS and my family each have their own Plex accounts, so that privileges can be managed. I don’t even need to login to plex, just trying to access media on my local Plex server on my NAS but can’t even do that.
Really annoying.
