Hi,
Plex seems to be having issues with picking up information on my Mp3s, and I was hoping for a little help. Here is an example.
It cannot find the album information for the following MP3s (although it seems to recognise that they are in the same album)
Looking at the tags it seems to be correct as the album name matches whats on last FM
Worse than that it seems its not picking up the album tag at all from the Mp3 as if you search it just shows “unknown album”
My Plex is running on Windows 10 as is version 1.4.4.3495. The libary is set to use the MP3 tags
Lose the slash / from the album title. Plex assumes probably that the slash is used as a separator between two different datums.
Fill in the AlbumArtist
Don’t use ALL CAPS to tag your music. It makes the information harder to read.

The all caps and album artist would effect album not being picked up from the tag?
I’ll try without the slash but its not only this album, for example Kerplunk also is not read

It has everything the same other than the tickboxes in the Last pass settings which are ticked

Of course not - that’s why I mentioned it last.

No issues here. Although I did omit the exclamation mark from the folder name.
The metadata is refresh is running but its still showing as unknown album
I’ve now removed the “!” I’ll report back when done
