Plex won’t record anything, and just says ‘Recording Aborted’. I am running it on Windows server 2012. I have tried recording to both the NAS and local hard drive. I have posted the logs below:

Double check that Y drive exists and you can write to it. I’m also not sure if PMS allows using the root drive folder. It is not recommended to place your media library at the root drive so this may have something to do with your issue too. Cancel this recording. Move your library to a child folder, recreate the recording and see if that works.
@“MovieFan.Plex” Attached you will find the log files for my Plex Server.
The issue I’m facing is that I’ve installed HDHomerun Extend and can use the software provided by them to use the device. The channels and the picture quality is as expected. When I set the device up in Plex DVR I was able to add the device without issue, I was able to select the channels I wanted and I was able to collect all the relevant program data for those channels. I was able to schedule several recordings that would record over the following evening. When I woke up in the morning, there were no new files on Plex, when I selected recording manager, some of the shows had an “!” alert. After selecting those, I saw the error, “Recording Aborted” theres no additional information on how to resolve the issue to let it record.
@“MovieFan.Plex”
Having similar problems recording, but just one channel. I can watch it live fine thru plex.
Update;
logs attached. Get a lot of these errors before it stops recording, but as mentioned only when recording a certain channel, can watch it live thru plex fine and all the other channels recorder/watch fine.

Hi @MovieFan.Plex,
My setup is with tvhProx i will restart the hdehomerun and the ubuntu server with tvhProx later when i’m at home.
I hope that will fix it. The only workaround that i have for now is to restore to plex 1.5 that works for me.

@Filoor What you are describing sounds like the problem I was having with v1.71 and v1.72… v1.5 worked fine. If the you are using “tvhProxy”, check what you have your ‘tvhProxyURL’ set to. I had it on the default of ‘http://localhost’, changed it to http://ipaddressofmymachine:5004 and now it works fine.
Mind you now I’m having other problems recording just one of the channels.

I just give it a try and again i’am getting
“An unknown error occurred”
I just loaded PMS on an old laptop that I have running windows 10. After doing this I was able to record with no problem, so it must be something odd with with main PC running windows 10:
Same version of Windows 10:
Same HDHOmerun prime
Same version of PMS
Different Hardware.

@“MovieFan.Plex” still waiting for further response to my logs/issue.
Just got around to checking your logs. Your DVR is aborting the recording with a 503 error. This indicates that the device did not respond to PMS when it was told to start recording. Do you have another program open that also accesses the DVR? DVR devices often do not report when another program is accessing it and some will reserve the tuner but can’t tell PMS that it is already in use. If this is the case. Try restarting your DVR and PMS, making sure no other programs that access the DVR hasn’t been opened.
