Tried to first update from 0.2.2 via updater, that failed, then i tried the scp to .upgrade/ stalled screen went black (still on) after crunshing at SYSTEM for a few minuts, waited some 10 minutes, pulled the power restarted, and some error came up something about a directory fail. Did a fresh install via the installer gui on linux to 0.3.1, everything seemed alright. But today iv had 4 complete lockups, no ping reply or anything. I dont think its a power issue, and 0.2.2 did not have any complete lockups nor did raspbmc after been used a long time. Log files shows nothing interesting.
Is there some way to push out more debug information?
Do you use overclocking?
Monitoring CPU and memory usage could be helpfull too.
i did use overclocking on raspbmc, i didnt find an option for it on rasplex, its to my understanding that the overclocking config is on the sd card right? if so then it should be whatever rasplex uses for default.

Im having the same problem. No overclocking tried 3 different sd cards with fresh install.
I have random lockups. I need to unplug the device and restart it to make it work again.
Yep, it happens more often on certain videos, same for you?

I get video/audio out of sync at times aswell
I only upgraded today (fresh install) and I'm having the same issue. Works great on some files and others get stuttering and then the thing where the sound disappears and then the picture freezes.
I'm on PMS: 0.9.8.6.175-88ffbb2 if that helps. Only upgraded it last week and seemed to get more random freezes and stuttering on 0.2.x after doing so as well. My Pi is a 512MB recently purchased.
This is happening to me as well. RasPlex playing performance hasn't been stable since upgrading to PMS 0.9.8.6.175 (having said that, downgrading didn't seem to fix anything).
I echo the comments above about 0.2.x suffering as well as 0.3.1.

It happens here random. It didnt crash before with older versions... Thinking of moving back to older version.
Took the server back to 0.9.8.4 and RasPlex back to 0.2.2 and everything seems peachy.
I'll be trying 0.3.1 again as soon as I can.
