0.7 losing networking

Follow up to this issue

Ok, so I wanted to wait until l had upgraded to the newest Server version, since Ned noted that there could be bugs in previous ones. So I am now running 0.9.12.8 and am still getting networking problems. I had initially thought that I was simply being logged out from the server, but it now appears the device is removed from the network altogether. I have RPI2 connected via ethernet to router and it is losing networking. A restart gets it back connected.

I refreshed my card to .7 rather than upgrading. Still seeing it. Problem occurs usually after I haven’t used the RPI to access anything (e.g., overnight). I never have problems while I am watching something.

Not sure what steps to take to log or troubleshoot networking issues. Never saw problems in the several weeks I was running 0.6

Any chance you can send a log file.

To do this:

Turn on Debugging (Preferences->System->Advanced->Enable debug logging
Restart Rasplex
When the network connection goes away note the time if you can and post the log here (can be found in .plexht/temp named plexhometheater.log

You can see network loss at line 399, middle of night when RPI was on, but not in use:
