1.23.6.4810 broke Channel numbers on Roku and Android tv

Channel numbers are now broke on Roku and Android. They Now show some weird tag instead of the channel number when upgrading to
1.23.6.4810.

Just upgraded my fire tv and am also seeing this.

I see this when using Plex EPG but not when using XMLTV.

I just rolled back to 1.23.2.4656 which hopefully will fix this until the latest release is fixed. The guide is still refreshing so can’t be certain but cautiously optimistic.

Update… After rolling back, removing the DVR and setting it back up, all is well.

I should have came here first I kept resetting the DVR and kept getting weird channel numbers finally backed off the beta and all is well.

I can confirm this issue also.

Same on my Nvidia Shields and FireTv’s.

I don’t watch much Live TV on Plex because there have always been audio drop out’s on all my Shields and Fire TV’s, but now with the guide channel numbers AFU, I don’t even try anymore.

I use the HD Homerun app and still use WMC thru xbox extenders. I like the UI of Plex Live TV, especially the recently tuned channel row on a down arrow, but the brief second random audio drop outs kill the viewing experience within 30 minutes usually :disappointed:

Roku 6.8.7.7196 + PMS 1.24.0.4897 the channel numbers are normal.

Channels numbers on Android 8.21.0.26962 are normal.

Yeah I’m not having this issue anymore either, it’s been resolved with either a update to the Android client or the server.

Same issue here using the Plex App on my LG TV. It displays some sort of code instead of the channel number. I’ve deleted and re-installed the DVR on my server (Windows) and still have the same issue.

The guide on the Web app works ok however, one of my channels displays under the wrong number, displaying 01 instead of 15. It has the same channel on 01 but I chose channel 15 when scanning and selecting the channels.

1.23.2.4656 recently stopped working for me, As I was forced to try something, I upgraded to the latest version which worked and no longer has the problem. Thanks
