On the new PLEX PREVIEW app the Live TV channels not in order anymore? And there are no channel numbers?

Why on the new PLEX PREVIEW are the Live TV channels not in order anymore??? And why are there no channel numbers??? Seriously??? Using xTeVe as a tuner. None of my family is happy with this update :frowning:

Guide does not stay on the channel you selected when returning to the guide.

Doesn’t matter. Plex for Android and the version of Plex for Roku before the EPG update work fine. It’s clearly a Plex for Roku issue.

You sure about that? Hauppauge WinTV QuadHD tuner does the same thing. All channels on ALL tuners are IN ORDER in the DVR SETUP.

@kegbeach: I’m not seeing the out of order issue here. Could you maybe share a photo of the first few items on Roku and the Web Client so I can see what’s different? Thanks!

@kegbeach: Could you verify you’re not seeing the same order on the non-preview app that you’re seeing on the preview app?

Thanks. So, just to be clear, the order in the non-preview app exactly matches the web client. I only ask because so far I can’t see what the difference could be. We didn’t change anything to do with channel ordering and I don’t know why XMLTV would have the issue when Plex guide data doesn’t. From the app’s perspective it’s all the same.

@ruuk The non preview app matches exactly as the web client and the actual order in the DVR setup page. The preview app is seemingly random ordering. It’s happening to all my Roku devices running preview.

Maybe it has something to do with the new UI… I dunno.

@ruuk Any status update on the fix? Please don’t release this version to the public channel before fixing this issue.

Today I’m setting up XMLTV to try to repro what you are seeing.

@ruuk I use guide2go + schedules direct. Then I load that into xTeVe and it spits out a url to input into the XMLTV location on plex when setting up…

If you would like the file xTeVe produces I will put it on my dedi for you to download…
