Quick question so I have a plex pass and am trying to share my content with family but it only plays for a minute…now I was told by someone that if I got a plex pass it would work any suggestions?
Is this family that lives in the same home as you? If so, you need to invite them as home users. Getting a plex pass does fix this issue, but it’s cheaper in the long run to do the one time $5 activation on each device…

They dont live with me
You can still add them to plex home, but it’s not advisable for people who don’t live with you. Anyone who wants to remotely access your plex server that doesn’t live with you should pay the $5 one time fee for app activation on mobile devices. (This ONLY affects mobile devices, all TV Devices, Smart TV’s, and Computers are free apps at the moment)
