I’ve done a google search and looked through these forums but can’t find any recent posts about this (there are some from 2010). I have just got a new UHD TV and thought I would be able to watch my videos in glorious UHD with PLEX on the XBOX One, but I’m very disappointed because the picture pauses every few seconds - I believe it’s called ‘jitter’. I’ve gone into the settings on the PLEX app on the XBOX but there is virtually nothing that can be changed. I’m using a wireless connection from my PC which is running PMS to the XBOX Plex app. I opened the video in VLC and this is the Codec info: H264 - MPEG-AVC(part10)(avc1); Resolution: 1920x1090; Display resolution: 1920x1080;Frame rate: 25; Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV.
What settings can I use on the server side to improve it, or is it simply because it’s a wireless connection between the server and XBOX? I’ve also add Plex as the highest QOS on my router.
Would appreciate any help, otherwise I’ll be copying to a USB and playing it from that, which is a pain.
