Today, I have come to find that Plex has changed 185 albums to some random artist. And it is not like I accidentally set the artist on the MetaData. So I am not sure why they are all set to this random artist for no reason. Any ideas?

I added in some new Albums a few days ago (Now that is what I call music 105-109) and today I noticed 185 random albums had the artist set to Now that is what I call music 107. If you can provide details on what you need to know from me that would be great thanks!

Plex is particular about how music files are organized on disk.
If you don’t follow these rules, strange things can happen. This is especially true whenever the artist “Various Artists” is involved.

I mean, I have had my Plex Media Server for years now and have never encountered an issue like this until this week I suppose. And odd as I am using the format suggested by Plex.

Sounds like a bug then. Post all the details and someone with more experience will take a look I’m sure.
