I have 2 versions of movies on separate hard drives and 2 separate libraries and I want to continue 1 version and move to the 2 version but only one version is showing as continue watching is there any way I can join both libraries to the same continue watching?
You cannot actually merge the two libraries but you can add the folder of the 2nd library to the 1st library.
For this to work, both versions of the movie need to be “matched” with the same metadata agent.
They don’t even need to be in the same Plex library.
