I would like to see a feature to allow us to be able to merge “Visually Only” multiple libraries.
For example if I have multiple hard drives I store media in and have my old library “Movies” on Drive “D:” and purchase another hard drive and have a “Movies” folder on there for more movies. I’d like to be able to in Plex have those 2 folders/libraries be displayed as (1) one library, instead of having to have multiple libraries named Movies or start naming them in consecutive order (Movies, Movies 2, Movies 3…etc)
Perhaps when creating a new library or editing an existing libraries and allow for multiple Folder Location Selections.
You can do that already.
Just edit your movie library and add the path to your second hard drive.
@OttoKerner Wow ok great, I didn’t realize that. Thanks alot I’ll do that now!
MERGE folders is not the same as EDIT folders. Im all over the EDIT page and have not seen any way of MERGING the folders! Maybe instead of saying :"yeah, theres and EDIT function and you can do it from there, you could SHOW HOW IT"S DONE? perPLEXing software. Missing functions, files on my server I did not ask for or want etc. They have a lot of work to do on this before I can be impressed with it. It has lots of potential, but it needs a ton of TIGHTENED CODE! 14 instances of PYTHON hogging my resources and slowing it to a STOP! NOT IMPRESSED!
