2 Plex Servers on same Network both accessible remotely?

Hi

I now have the need to use one server for my media libraries and the other for Live TV to be viewed remotely

On my first server 32400 is used for private and public and properly set in router port forwarding

For my second server (for Live TV) I know i can’t use 32400 so I tried 32402 as manually specified port in plex. I added the entry in the router; but I can only see server 2 locally not remotely.

I have a Netgear r7000 router/ gigabit speeds. Might I need a second router dedicated to that second server or is it just something simple I am missing?

Thanks

Jeff

You have to use 32400 for the internal port on both servers

The 2nd servers external port is the only one that has to be different

Is this what you did?

Jay,

You’re the best !

My issue was I did not realize that I could enter a separate internal and external port in my router

After reading your reply, I went back to my router and there was a blue checkmark next to use same port for internal/external. Unticked it and all works great

Again Jason. many, many thanks

Jeff
