2 Servers, 1 Account

Have not seen this particular question yet…hopefully you can help.

My current setup is a MacMini running PMS, connected to a Synology NAS which hosts the media. Both devices are on my local network (I’m in Singapore).

I am trying to bring up a second PMS (running on a Synology NAS) in a remote location (US) and use my current Plex account to manage both.

However, when I attempt to log onto the second PMS, it takes me to the web GUI (so far, so good) which only shows my First NAS.

How do I get my second NAS to show up on my plex account? Does this have anything to do with running PMS on two different platforms? Port forwarding is set up on both routers.

Any ideas?

Each Plex server has it’s own version of web interface, available via ip:32400/web
Open that page for your Plex on NAS in US, go settings, general and sign in that server with your Plex credentials. After that you will see both server via app.plex.tv

Thanks. The way you are describing it, I need to be on the local network (in the US) for the first access, after which it should work remotely.

Correct?

Greg

Yes, you need access from local network. If I remember correctly only PC installer give you opportunity to sing in your server during installation.

Thanks

Greg

Fixed!

I logged on locally (TeamViewer session on local PC) and it worked the first time.

Thank you.
