I have tried to find an answer to this but have had no luck..
I have the Plex Server in my house with an XBox One working with no problems. What I would like to do is let my daughter watch movies from my server with the XBox One in her apartment across town. Is this possible? If so how?
Set up port forward in your router.
local ip: 0.0.0.0
external ip: google whats my ip
port: 32400

If you make your daughter have a Plex account (no need for it to be Plex Pass) and invite her to your Plex Home, she will be able to log in to her XB1 (and whatever other devices she might have) and have access to your server.
