20% of my movies are not being recognized

can you post your server logs and the exact file path and name of one of the affected movies?

  • Move files (with folders)out to where not monitored (OUT of the NAS completely)
  • Scan files for the library (let it finish)
  • Empty Trash
  • Clean bundles (Also let this finish)
  • Optimize Database (AND THIS TOO)
  • Now move it/them back.

I’ve just resolved the issue! It was one folder which contained about 400k files (an extracted zip) that I downloaded a while ago and forgot to move it to the right share. In addition I replicated all permissions from the top folder to the files and folders within my collection. Now I suddenly have 200 movies more in my library :slight_smile:

I was thinking it was probably a file permissions issue, but wanted the logs to confirm it
