I’ve never had any issues with adding movies to my library. Now I am having trouble getting a certain movie series to show up, its 6 movies, all in the same folder, and plex does recognize the first movie, but not all 5 that are left.
I changed the way the files were labeled, because they were very similar.
did not seem to make a difference. Any and all help is welcome! Thank you!

Please show how you have the movies named and organized, including the path and file extension.
Follow Plex naming requirements.
Put each movie in its own folder.
If using the new scanner/agent, add the IMDB or TMDB ID to the folder & file name.
Plex Dance the movie after renaming/reorganizing.
Movies are named and organized like this:
D:\Movies\Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin (2015-17) [Complete] + Extras (1080p BluRay x265 HEVC 10bit AAC 5.1 SAMPA) - Then I have the files in the folder named as such
MSG The Origin 1 Blue-Eyes Casval, MSG The Origin 2 etc all the way up to 6.
They are .mkv files but like I said it recognized the first movies as a movie.
Now that i’ve renamed them as stated above, it can find The Origin 2, but it thinks its a tv show.
That’s not going to work.
Are those movies listed in IMDB.com or themoviedb.org? All I’m finding is the TV series.
Follow the Plex naming requirements, which means using the movie name as you see it in IMDB or TMDB. For example: /movies/Avatar (2009)/Avatar (2009).mkv
They are Original Video Animations, they are 80 some minutes long so to me they are movies.
Im honestly so lost man, i’m not very good with this type of stuff.

This works on my server:
/movies/Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I - Blue-Eyed Casval/Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I - Blue-Eyed Casval.mkv
: is not a legal character for a file name, so just leave it out.
Plex Dance the movie after renaming it.
Nice! So for the plex dance, It says to empty trash, is that in plex or in windows?
Empty the trash in Plex.
The Plex Dance removes prior traces of the movie from the Plex database. It makes it like you are adding the movie for the first time.
