You may want to check out this other thread. The Plex team is engaged there and for the first time I’ve seen them actually acknowledge a problem with the tube. They also said they’re working on some patches in an upcoming 8.1.0 version of the plex app, but there’s not ETA yet.

Plex on Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro freezes after 11-13 minutes playback

The Tube and the Pro have some rather different capabilities, so what is happening on one device may not be the same underlying issue on another. This thread is primarily about the Pro, as mentioned in the title. We have some fixes coming to address some performance issues on the Tube, however, we can’t reproduce the reported issues on the pro, and I’ve yet to receive any logs that help with investigating this issue.
