A week ago, I moved my shield pro in my media cabinet. That meant ejecting the two USB storage devices I had attached (2 10tb usb drives) and shutting everything down. After moving the shield pro device, I hooked everything back up and noticed specific files were shown as ‘UNAVAILABLE’ in plex. I first went and checked the storage devices to ensure they were both still connected. I next verified in FX file explorer on the shield I could locate any one of the example files shown as unavailable and also confirmed they would play from the file explorer. That all worked. I’ve since ejected the drive and reconnected them without any change. I have rescanned my library and optimized my database. These files still show as unavailable. Interestingly, plex can give me all the file info for the ‘unavailable’ file. I attached my logs hoping that someone has a solution. The drive with the unavailable files is newer, but has been connected and working no problem for multiple months now.
did you reconnect the drives before turning it back on?
these are the paths that the TV scanner was looking at. maybe it created a new path when they were re-connected. Are both set as removable storage?

They both were originally set as removable storage and the shield storage settings page still shows them in the removable storage category. Oddly, fx file explore shows one as ‘usb storage’ and the other as ‘media card’. I can’t recall how it displayed them before to confirm 100% that this is different. I think you are onto something. The path seems to have remained the same for the first drive, which also has the shield server on it. The path the issue drive is now /storage/DC0C-B955/NVIDIA_SHIELD/TV for the drive that has the unavailable files. Can you tell me which log file that info is in? Thanks!
