SHIELD PLEX unable to use external removable storage

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3830
Player Version#: 8.11.0.22186

It worked for a month ( Plex sees movies library on 1T external SSD (1)formatted by SHIELD TV PRO as removable storage)
Then I changed SSD (1) for an 8T (SSD 8) one, also formatted by NVIDIA as removable storage .It took 2 weeks to rip 6,5T worth of Blu Rays to the SSD on my w10 pro PC. In between I put the disk with the folder Movies manually made in the folder NVIDIA_SHIELD in the Shield to watch some movies on Plex. Beautiful. Then when I was finished with ripping some bad night Plex could not find any movie on disk (8). I insert disk (1) same, got messages movie library is empty. I did all I found on the web. Cleaning caches and data uninstalled and installed multiple times server and player, with small changes in between (force stop, cleaning Plex data with Xplore,) and just as often reset SHIELD. Still nothing on both disks full of movies
Of course just after installing the player Plex asked permissions and asked what storage to use. It always started with internal storage which I changed to removable storage. I could see in server settings of the player that the storage icon changes name from internal storage to USB disk… I could see with Xplore changes made on the USB disk in the android folder.
Movies folder according to player was always empty after any number of scanning.
I noticed that TVshows, music, pictures and Movies folders stayed in the internal storage under Android files. So i put a small 1Gig movie file in the Movies folder under internal storage and what I assumed was right. Even when storage was set for Plex to removable usb disk, it only scanned the movie folder in internal storage and found it in within a minute of scanning. I opened the scanning log and found that that was the case:
Performing a scan with “Plex scanner”
Scanning /storage/emulated/0/ Movies —>internal storage
What can I do?
What logs do I have to upload?
Kind Regards

What can I do?

Forgot to mention that a week before this happened I bought a second NVIDIA SHIELD TV PRO for my wife’s TV downstairs. I replaced the Shields, but the “bug” was repeated by the second Nvidia Shield.
To be fully complete in my tries, I let SHIELD reformat SSD (1) and under the folder NVIDIA_SHIELD I added the folder Movie with 1 movie. Both movie folders on the 2 disks were not scanned

I start to hate Plex and regret my lifelong pass…I see much similar problems on the WEB
That is what my heart says, my head still has hopes.
My problems become more bizar…
I reinstalled Plex and the server after first freezing force stop) the previous ones and deleted cache and data as much as possible. Then I ( for the Xth) time reinstalled server and player in Google Store for a different try I never did before also did not do when initially all seems to work before the persisting problems occurred.
After installing Plex but before it asked where to find PMS storage it gave the choice where to find your personal media files. In the beginning I did not had any, so I skipped that step and went on to point Plex to the already SHIELD formatted removable storage. I did not this time and clicked the route to specify the source where my personal media files are, which brought me to the web desktop interface
It gave me a choice which folder to choose from, and I choose, Movie. Then it asked where the folder was and gave me a list of addresses and to my happiness it also showed the NVIDIA_SHIELD/Movie folder on my USB disk (8) the SSD 8T. next to the internal storage one to choose from In managing libraries it scanned the 8T and finally it showed the 240 posters of the movies on my PC monitor. I could not believe my eyes.
I turned to the SHIELD connected to my projector and saw all the 240 movie posters on the big screen and in opening all the stories and background appeared as well. I played one for a few minutes , which was possible but the initiating phase was longer than it was before ah well the movie started to play… I stopped it and tried another movie, the same result including longer starting time compared to the snappy ones I was used to. I went back to settings of the server and found what I expected, next to the server icon the storage icon was labeled internal storage. Still strange as I saw all the movies in the menu, and they are on the external storage. So I went back to the storage icon labeled internal storage and clicked on it. I saw the well known page asking in all colors to proceed. I was back on the page to tell PLEX where the PMS storage should be. I clicked on usb external storage .It took more than 20 minutes. Got back to the original home page the movies disappeared from the screen and I had all my old problems back. The deskop Plex app on my pc monitor told me connection with server was lost and according to Plex on the Nvidia my movies folder was empty. The movies folder where all the movies were had an orange triangle at their icon. Connection lost
I checked the server status storage and it was labeled usb removable storage
How can Plex desktop read my usb disk as a possible source for media what Plex on 2 Nvidia Shields ( one 3 months old and one 1 week) refuses to do after an NVIDIA SHIELD RESET and starting Plex installation as new??

PS i checked the logs and found that scanning included the external storage with the USB disk when it found the movies. The last two scans when PSM was located to the removable storage scanned only internal storage.

I am fully lost

Can someone help me?

I am free from all my frustrations and any lack of help in this forum. I went to KODI with no hassle at all and it works like a charm. I feel deeply sorry for spending over 100 dollars for a life pass, done in my enthusiasm of the first two days when I used only a half full 2T ssd with movies.

So Kodi is the way to go
