Samsung TV with HDR10+ network hard wired.

Plex’s latest software for HDR tone mapping direct play has bugs on the latest Samsung HDR supported TV sets. Flashes almost look like white strobes for a few milliseconds at a time. It feels almost as if it’s trying to repeatedly play HDR and gives up.

If I uncheck both Direct Stream and Direct Play, it then works, but transcoding is way too heavy and buffers. So then you are forced to optimize into an AVC x264 much larger file.

Is there any way I can help with getting this resolved?

Updated initial post with more details.

After more testing, it is only the movies that support HDR10+ that are flickering. So the HDR tone mapping is working but there is a bug in the HDR10+ processing.
