Is there a way to watch videos on 24hz?
I don’t have a PS4, but on Xbox One you can by enabling “Display Rate Switching” in Plex settings.
Yep already works on Xbox One
I have an original xbox one and it can be wonky sometimes…if that happens just back out of the movie/tv show and start again and that usually fixes it (wonky meaning framepacing all wrong)
EDIT: from the small amount of comments the devs have made about developing plex for the ps4 i wouldn’t hold my breath for that console. Playstation is keeping features from devs they themselves use and the Xbox one only got the feature recently after years of making huge changes and advances to their dev environment

Since you own an Xbox, you might be able to tell me if the apps Netflix or Prime support it. That would be great

Netflix doesn’t support display rate switching
I thought netflix did support it…will have to test when I get home. Amazon video definitely does support it - kodi alpha supports it - I don’t think hdhomerun does
I need to check more but for the most part it works pretty good
